About Northstar Teak
The name "NorthStarWoodStore" is the true beginning to NorthStar Teak, as this was the company's original name. Founded in 2023 by Matthew Starks
This business started in a 2-car garage in the small mid-western town of Winona, Minnesota. Originally selling on platforms such as Etsy, the company quickly grew and demanded immediate scaling. The first employee hired was Matthew's father. Meanwhile, the 2-car garage was renovated to include heating, cooling, insulation, and permanent woodworking fixtures. A website was quickly formed while the dedication to top-notch customer service, and craftsmanship grew deeper.
NorthStar Teak continues to grow day-by-day. Northstar Teak is quickly outgrowing its original home. Plans for a full-scale commercial workshop are underway.
